Default Difference between standard and A1 style Comp

About to purchase a new 15 22, Does anybody know the difference between these two guns. (standard-811030 and A1 Style Comp 811033). Is worht the money to buy the A1 Style Comp ?

The difference is the M16A1 flash suppressor. (It's not a compensator.) And that difference is cosmetic.

That said, I had my earlier M&P15-22 barrel threaded and screwed on a real M16A1 flash suppressor. Just feels better.

Not sure why I took this photo but both types show:

M16A2 compensator (no bottom shots) top
M&P15-22 with M16A1 flash suppressor (slots all around) bottom

It's only worth it if you want it. I think an ar15 styled rifle looks very weird without one, but that's just me. If you don't care get whatever is cheaper. Keep in mind it can also be removed and replaced with a silencer. It's cheaper to get it done from the factory than to change it later on and have to pay someone else and ship it around to get the work done

Looks gelded to me without a muzzle device. And, of course, much more evil.
