Default Help with sling please

I want to get an inexpensive sling and am hoping that someone can give me advice on a sling and the peices and parts needed to hook it to my 15-22. Links to sites would be aappreciated if anybody has done it. It is my first rifle, and do not want to buy the wrong or unecessary items. I was wondering if the metal belt loop connector that is at the rear of the stock could be used to mount anything to.

Thanks in advance

This opens up a ton of alternatives. Since I only have the sling attached when I'm going to do a bunch of walking, I went simple. Try this link:

QD Pushbutton Rail Mount Swivel With Sling

This gives you the front rail QD mount and the sling to go between that and what came on the rifle. You can also undo the screw in the butt, and change the stock sling rear mount to right or left as well as the original down position. Look at other rrages.com sling alternatives to give you more ideas. And look at some of the previous threads on slings in this forum. Like I said, there are a lot of alternatives from a lot of sources. Good luck.

I got one on Ebay. Midwest Industries QD sling attachment.
midwest industries sling items - Get great deals on Sporting Goods, industries sling items on eBay.com!

For Sling I got myself a Vikings Tactics Sling. Really like the quick adjustments I can make on the fly.

This is a Blue Force sling.

Add-on quick detach swivel on the rail up front.

Rear mount just goes thru the stock as shown.

The bottom stock swivel came off a week after the first photo. Just gets in the way.
