M&P 15 22 300 yard shots
Hey guys, check this video out that I found on youtube. Its a human sized metal target at 300 yards, hit almost every time.

How do you know they were mostly hits? I can not see anything in there.

Listen, you hear the round hit the steel plate. It has a very distinct "ding" he even rapid fires a few.. and waits.. all go "ding"

You can hear it ringing slightly after the shot.
8-32x scope, I'd like to try tossing a big piece of glass on top of mine and seeing what it will do at 300 yards.

I don't buy it. One, I can't see the target or verify range. Two, I can hear a couple hits toward the beginning but not much after that.

Not saying it "couldn't" be faked, anything can... But I clearly heard the hits. Maybe you have hearing damage or your computer lacks adequate speakers.

All I will say is that its totally possible. Yes their is alot of drop but that scope can see 300 yards easy probably out 3 times that and with the right calculations for drop its completely possible. He would have to put alot of work into windage and drop but yeah its a good shot. Not going to say it would be lethal though maybe to a person but not to small game, prarie dogs, gophers ect.

Yes the shots hitting the steel target are easy to hear for most of the enitre video. A few are hard to hear during the rapid fire, but they CAN be made out if you listen closely.

I can hear the hits on each shot. He did says "human sized metal target at 300 yards". That would give you a 5' high target right. So you have to be good to about 2' right left, and 5' vertically. Not saying I could hit it shot after shot, but I'm thinking it's real.
Neat video. Wish I had a >100 yard range near by. I only rarely get to shoot over 100 yards.
