Default Magpul 15-22

Does the 15-22 come in a Magpul setup? If so is this the collapsible stock with the flared out sides? Sorry if I am using the wrong terminology. I have seen the Magpul collapsible stock and it looks like with the flared out sides that it would be a natural check rest. Comments? Pictures?
I am thinking about getting a 15-22 and just trying to do some research.
Thanks.

The only "Magpul" 15-22 that I am aware of are the MOE editions.
Product: Model M&P15-22 MOE Rifle - Magpul Sights, Stock and Grip
That has the Magpul MOE stock (MOE = Magpul Original Equipment), I think you are thinking more of a Magpul PRS?. Magpul Stocks:
RIFLE STOCKS

The MOE 15-22 has Magpul: MOE stock, MOE hand grip, MBUS sightes. The .223/5.56 M&P15 MOE also adds the MOE handguard, but as the 15-22 has quadrail, it does not.

For the MOE and CRT, Magpul does offer a 2 "Cheek Risers" that fit the MOE or CTR:
CTR - Compact/Type Restricted - CTR/MOE 0.25" Cheek Riser

I think that the 'flared out' stock is the ACS. It's not available as standard equipment, but fits great. You might look on your local Craigslist or on AR15.Com - Your Firearm Resource. (AR-15, M4, M16, AR-10, H&K, SIG, FNH, FAL, AK-47, 50 Cal, M1/M1A, Carbine, Handgun, Pistol, Training, Hunting, and More!) if you want to find one to add to a 15-22. You should be able to find one for $100-$110, sometimes less. It is a very comfortable stock and I highly recommend it.

Here's my brother's MOE edition with an ACS on it:

And after I painted it (on top)

I can't quite make out the tone of this post, but the AFG 'cleaver hacking' was just so I could see if I like it further back than is possible on the stock AFG. After a few trips out shooting, if I like it, I'll fill it solid with epoxy putty and sand it all smooth again then paint it. If I don't like it, I'll just pick up a new one. The only drawback I've found to mounting it that far back is that I can't pivot the upper around the forward pin. I have to pop both pins and remove the upper.

It's the Angled Foreward Grip, from Magpul, that you see on both of the 15-22's in my pictures above. It puts the forward hand in a more natural position than a typical vertical grip. If you look at my rifle, the bottom one in the bottom picture, you'll see that I removed a significant portion of the rear of my AFG so that I could mount it closer to the mag well.

The AFG isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it and so does my brother so we are both running them on ours.

It really freaks him out when I start cutting or drilling on my rifle. I drilled into my receiver to add the rear sling swivels and took the Dremel to both my quad rail and AFG. I figure I can always get new parts if I screw it up too badly.

If no one ever took a risk we would still not have a wheel! Of course if they screwed up the first wheel they could not get a second
Thanks for the info.

I've been checking eVilBay for those AFG's. Do you know if there is there any difference in the airsoft model? They look the same, just cheaper.
