Has anyone upgraded their trigger? If so which one. Looking for something similar to the accrue trigger on the savage

There are MANY threads on trigger upgrades and mods. Just use the search option and you will find just about any info you could want. Just use the "search this forum" option on the right side of the main page. There is even a link to a trigger video one of our members made that is on youtube. Its in the "Notable thread index" section at the top of the main page. Once you click this, got to the "Instructional videos section" There is a 3 part video on the fire control group that should answer all your questions, and more. Sorry if this seems rude, im not trying to be. Hope this helps you out.

I've gotten some great reviews on the Geissele SSA. It's about $200, but like with most things you get what you pay for.

My family and GF have been told this would be a great Xmas gift, so if it's not there, they got some 'splainin to do!

Im did the JP Enterprise trigger set up part # JPFCP-1EZ. It fit perfect ,I was really surprised it fit so well . Its little expensive . Feels good 3-4 pound pull & smooth . Haven't gone to go to range with it yet ,do to work & family .

Will any ar15 trigger kit fit in the 15-22

Fit, yes. Work perfectly just dropped into a 15-22 ...maybe. With the exception of the JP spring kit, AR triggers are designed primarily for centerfire ARs and probably aren't even tested on the 15-22 platform. The RRA trigger I installed had to be "tuned" for my 15-22. Here's the thread....

i have the jp and love it way beter then stock and for 10$ shipped you CANT beat it

I upgraded to the JP yellow springs and they are an improvement over stock. With that, I still wasn't happy with the trigger pull. I went with the RRA 3.5# Match Trigger and it trans formed the gun, for me. A bit pricey but if you average it over the number of years I'll probably enjoy this rifle, I'm pleased and I guess that what counts.

I've got $15 in my trigger and I will gladly put it up against anyones aftermarket single stage trigger... It breaks at 3lbs and has very little pre-travel while being as slick as glass.. many people fear the unknown and these rifles are stupid simple but look complicated. There are many videos on youtube on how to better an ar trigger watch a few and you will have a better understanding of how they work...

A j&p spring kit and alittle compound worked into the sear gets most members the trigger they want.. others like myself want a better trigger and take it a couple of steps further, but if you have money to blow then by all means let it fly. If not try the j&p springs and about 20 min of your time

Local gun shop did a "trigger job" on my 15/22 when I had them add a flash suppressor to the gun. Cost was like ~$150ish. I tho't it a bit expensive, but the difference in the feel is quite nice. Not sure what was involved .... hope it was more than just some springs.

Since it's been in the teens and 20s here in Southern New England, I have not shot the gun since I had the work done. But, I suspect it will work very well. The shop has a very good reputation.

I'll find out in a couple months when temps improve a bit.

Just put Jard single-stage, no adjustment, 2lbs. Easy installion, works fine.I put KNS-pins also.

Looked on youtube and some of these guys are cutting springs on their 15 22 . has anyone done this and didnt regret it? Cant see myself doin it to factory springs. Not trying to thread jack so my .02 cents is get the jp spring set and progress from there. Trigger assemblies arent cheap and there is no gaurentee you will like the feel. I agree with (Brett or grim or both whoever said it) mess with the springs a bit and experiment.

Gun control means two hands

dont cut them just bend them back to reduce pressure.. step off about 3/8" from the coil spring and bend them back about 30 degrees on the hammer spring. i even done this to my j&p springs

The factory trigger on my rifle was pretty rough...but I'm used to the RRA match triggers in my centerfire AR's. So I swapped out the trigger and hammer with stock (DPMS I think)parts I had laying around. Used the factory hammer spring and the result was a big improvement. Not a match trigger...but not too bad.

Hello just received my Spikes Tactical Battle trigger and JP 3.5 springs. So far feels way better than my polished stock trigger. Very smooth a slight amount of creep, very slight for the money very acceptable improvement. Looks good also!
