Default Viridian Green Lasers anyone??

This was one of the first things I was going to add to my Walther P22 and never got around to it. Now I'm thinkin about getting one for my M&P and was wondering if anyone has one and which one? Or links to others with good reviews would be awesome too. Don't even link to a red laser, as all of my shooting is outside and red just don't cut it...green is where it's at.....I just wish it was cheaper which is why I still have yet to get one for my Walther.

I actually was agreed to trade for one NIB two weeks before Christmas, day of shipping mutually he writes he backed out, sorry man, just dont want to do it. Damn.

Now I had my eyes on them but the $299 Aimpoint Micro is calling me out and I've spent a TON of money on my 15-22 and my new Bushmaster so its time to spend a couple hundred on my first and potentially favorite longgun, my Dick's SPorting Goods combo, OD Green conventional synthetic stock and scope setup Remington 597 ... ("easily the most advanced automatic rimfire system ever made..." :-) ]

What do you know bout them VDC, you here good or bad? See I have two NcStars red dots and both are cheap CHinese scopes but, completely uncomplainable---They do what they're supposed to. My holohsight on the 15-22 is fine and the bigger red dot on the Zastava 7.62 has held up SO FAR... So I was thinking about a pretty powerful speced cheap-***** green laser from NcStar for my $15-22...why not really?

Viridian has a nice light and green combo I had my eye on for my Glock 23 that also fits any accesory rail so I could move around my portfolio... But its like $350 retail so, it's still at the store

was looking at them for xdm's. wondered if it would look silly since it is designed for the pistols, putting it on an AR rail. they do have universal models though. anyone ever mount one up? pics would be nice.

About what? The Remington, or the Viridians? As for the Viridians, I don't know anything about the cheaper ones. Most are real spendy which is what's kept me from getting one thus far, but everyone who I've talked to about them say their tons better than the red lasers. Outdoors is all I shoot and when the sun comes out, the red lasers disappear basically. I just wish they weren't so spendy for the green laser.

As for the Remington, it looks freakin nice. From what I saw on wiki (not the best for accuracy), it looks like they've recalled the 17hmr versions. I like the fact it can shoot three types of ammo and may be my next rimfire instead of the 10/22. But only if it's as accurate, if not, I'll get the 10/22 and a dedicated 17hmr. I'd take accuracy over the ability to shoot three kinds of ammo. I'll find out what's up with them with some more research for sure; as I'm intrigued.

Well, looks like you can't even get one that chambers 17hmr any more...bummer. Looks like a dedicated tack driver for both ammos will have to be purchased, hehhe

I put a virdian on my wifes brushed chrome walther and the first one that came in was a huge ***, but the company was good to work with minus a slight misunderstanding.. but never the less they shipped me a brand new one and a tshirt for my troubles.. its night and day compaired to a crimson.. and at night it looks like a light sabre..it holds zero very well but if you leave it in the car on those 15 degree days don't expect the battery to have any juice... my wife loves it

The Viridian is significantly brighter than my LaserLyte. Green lasers don't work well in below freezing temps.

Bought a Ruger SR9 new. There was a deal to buy a green Viridian at a $150 dollars. I jumped on that thinking it was a great deal. It wasn`t any more visible in sunlight. The laser mount on the pistol slid on and was suppose to lock. The dumb thing kept falling off while I was shooting. I sold the SR9 and was very happy to include the Viridian for free. Being from Minnesota I was disappointed seeing it was a Minnesota company. The only luck I`ve had with lazers is a red one my tactical 12 gage home defense weapon. If I have to use it,it will probably be dark. My son works for the Sheriff`s dept and he said between the lazer and the racking of the 12 gage any intuder should be gone. To sum it up I`ve really haven`t had any luck with lazers in the sunlight. Could be my tired old eye`s.

Default Viridian worth the money

I've got the Viridian on my Walther P22 and it fits perfect, looks great, and is BRIGHT. By the way, there are only 2 of those NCStar scope combo packages left at Amazon (one is on it's way to my house). Damn that Amazon card...
