I did some searching and don't think there are any lower than the stock sights. A Google search for 'low profile AR sights' pretty much returns the stock AR rigid rail sights or the pop-up Magpul or Troy type sights that are offered on the various M&P 15-22 models.
On an AR platform, anything lower would likely present a problem obtaining a proper sight picture/sight alignment because the top of the stock is in direct line with the top of the receiver rail, unlike most other bolt action, lever action, black powder rifles where the top of the stock is generally lower than the top of the receiver. The taller sights made for ARs are taller to compensate for this lack of difference in height. That's one reason risers are often used on flat-tip ARs.
