there is a subforum dedicated solely to the 15-22 and there are answers to any question you may have there. Also instructional videos and a lot of helpful members. : D

This is a 22 rimfire. What are you wanting to shoot with it. Hunting range for me is up to 100yds but plinking up to 200yds.

Zombie of course...thats why im getting it in the first place its going to be my zombie killer...
The reason I ask is because ive seen videos on youtube of people turning golf balls into powder at 200 yards with a 10/22 High velocity cci.

Yeah we all seem to be pretty well sold on them Honestly, I've owned and shot a lot of 22 rifles, none were as fun as this one

as long as you dont lose any parts flying off of it in the process. read these forums well, there have been problems with the guns. most have been corrected but if you get an old SN you need to know what to do WHEN it messes up.

other than the extractor coming off durring a rare OOB what parts would or have flown off???? i currently sit somewhere between 20-30k rounds fired and the only thing that has flown off my weapon has been rain water while shooting durring the lovely washington weather. so if you would please elaborate on what parts are flying off and if it is indeed the OOB's your talking about you should probably go post this on every other .22lr forum and warn those folks as well. brett248vista has already shown that damn near all semi .22's can and will fire OOB. and just for reference my rifle is serial number DTUxxxxxx

I just started the DROS on mine yesterday... already have a red dot to put on it, the addiction began with a M39 pistol a few months ago and now on to the 15-22... I hate Kalifornistan's gun laws. Good thing is I bought it from the pro shop at the range so I can go visit it and shoot it while going through DROS.

Go put your hands on the others first, like the mossberg, or the colt. Then you will have your answer.

I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, my Son and I love it. I have even been able to get my Daughter out shooting it. I have to agree with the others, BUY LOTS of ammo. I was used to shooting bolt action .22's and a box of 500 would last several trips to the range. Not anymore.... It's a blast!
