Has anyone tried this type of ammo?

I saw it earlier today so I thought I would try a box. I found them for ~$14.50 for a box of 325 or $0.046 per round (the Federal bulk pack is $0.040 per round). The box says:

- Target Grade Accuracy
- Optimized for Semi-Automatic Firearms
- Excellent choice for action target shooting

It also says it's a 40gr solid bullet with a 1200fps muzzle velocity.

Looking at them, it seems they are a bit more consistent than the bulk pack - the bulk pack rounds have small nicks and burrs that the new stuff doesn't have.

Here's a picture of the box and from left to right, the Target Grade Performance ammo, Federal bulk pack, CCI mini mag, and CCI Stinger.



I'd never seen them before, but I thought I might try them out in a competition this weekend.

yep first thing i ever shot out of mine make sure you clean your rifle really good they are mess makers shot decent thou

Shoot very well in 15-22 and my 10/22's and Marlin Model 60's.

This ammunition is referred to as Federal AutoMatch. Don't buy into all the hype words on the box, but it shoots good in my 22s.

Other than CCI Mini-Mags...this is the only ammo that will cycle in my Sig Mosquito.

Works great in my 15-22 as well.

It's good stuff, as far as I'm concerned...and a value, as compared to the Mini-Mags.
