Picatinny to Weaver Adaptor?
Sorry, I did not know the correct terminology. I HAVE A SCOPE WITH RINGS THAT ARE A DOVETAIL MOUNT AND WOULD LIKE TO MOUNT ON MY PICATINNY RAIL. Anybody know of an adaptor so that I don't have to change rings? I searched and found the reverse, but not this. Thanks.

Weaver rings will work fine. You may need a riser depending on ring height.

The man is right, a Picatinny rail is nothing more than a Weaver base stretched out really long.

???
Picatinny rails are made to a specific standard, MIL-STD-1913. Weaver rails are similar but not held to such an exacting standard, so you get more variation and possibly a looser fit. Most "Picatinny" rails and accessories are cheaply made and not true MIL-STD-1913.
Anyway, Phil is right, your rings should work fine with no adapter.

If I recall correctly, the slots in a Picatinny rail are slightly wider than in a Weaver. Therefore, Weaver fits on Picatinny, but true spec Picatinny won't fit on Weaver.

Hi Everyone. I made a mistake in terminology. I have a scope with rings for a DOVETAIL mount (not Weaver). I hope everybody rereads this change. Thanks.

Easiest option then is to buy new rings for your scope.

Amen, and the Weaver style rings are generally the cheapest, easiest ones to find.
If a store has any rings at all, it has Weaver rings.

What size rings fit on our 15-22s? I was looking at the Black Hank 3-9x40mm tactical scope. I want to be sure it fits my rail.

All you need to know is if the scope has a 1inch tube or a 30mm then buy weaver or pic rings either will work. I think the op has 3/8" dove tail mounts to fit a rimfire. They will not work, not even close
