newbe Dumb question
hey guys, I am guessing i have gought the DUU.. gun. what is the differance in it as compared to the other guns?? I think i saw a DUR is that right?? is it just the models of our guns?? like i see some with out the flash supressor like I have. IDK about having blue springs? guess im gona have to look..

the DUU just refers to the beginning of your serial number. It is a sequential identifier to when yours was produced. Later serial numbers already have some of the very early design errors corrected. As for the blue spring, push out the rear takedown pin, fold open the upper and lower, look at your main hammer spring. Is it blue?

It means that you have the updated springs. Fire away and enjoy them.
The reason for some of the rifles not having a flash suppressor or threaded barrel is they were intended as state compliant models. For those state governments that have tactical weapon restrictions.
