I have one installed on mine, Pretty nifty. I thought about taking the barrel off and sending it to someone like Belt Fed but I wanted to try this out first. Didn't really need a threaded barrel for a silencer or shroud and for $26 shipped for my door it was the cheapest route.

Thanks for the info.Just trying to find out if people were happy with it.I really would rather have the barrel threaded, but cash is tight right now and this looked like a pretty cool alternative.

I installed the True Shot flash hider on mine and I think it looks very good! It's made well and it keeps the barrel from looking so "naked"! I would recommend it for sure!

You can always put a barrel shroud on with it.

It uses three screws and with a little tube of loctite they seem to hold it very secure.

I went this route (tacticool22)--AWESOME craftsmanship, great price, good customer service. Unless you shoot with NVGs you probably don't need a flash hider and a compensator is overkill on a .22LR because recoil is minimal, making follow-up shots easy. If looks are the goal, one could pursue many options, but a long barrel shroud from Tacticool22 is nice looking, well made, and a nice price.
