Default UTG Tactical Flashlight/Laser is super duper awesome!

Just got in my UTG Tactical Flashlight/laser (I'm a sucker for anything "tactical" in the name. I want tactical cornflakes!)

Anyway, compared to my bad experience with UTG's adjustable foregrip and wobbly tripod, this laser/light combination is superb! Attaches VERY securely to the picatinny rails on my 15-22, and the light is absolutely blinding! I love that it has rubber washers inside the screw caps for protection against the elements, and the whole construction is a very solid, heft metal.

Flashlight works by turning the rear part (think Maglight, but at the rear rather than the front), and the laser works with a push button switch on and off.

UTG ALSO gives you pressure switches for both the flashlight and the laser. And the flashlight is BRIGHT (it's LED). 150 lumens! And all batteries are included. Very easy to dial in the laser, and I just made it overlap my Konus red-dot at 25 yards. Easy.

Anyway, here's a few pics. Very happy with this purchase so far! It's definitely very tacticool! For $70, it's a serious bargain I'd say!

Is that a genuine Aimpoint Micro? I'm looking for a replica, and if that's what it is I'd be interested in your impressions.

It's a UTG. No idea if it's an Aimpoint Micro clone or not...

My Ncstar green laser with pressure switch that I just got does not work good in the bright sunlight. At 50 yds I have to use my scope to see. It works good out to 35yds in the bright sunlight, morning or at dusk or inside a building its top notch. I had a red laser on my 9 mm pistol and it was useless in the sunlight.

Glad it worked out for you, and if i'm not mistaken that UTG light uses the same size head as some of the other tactical flashlights and if you want to "upgrade" it to an IR system you can use this > P60 Style 940NM InfaRed IR Drop In LED Flashlight Upgrade Engine

Also, if i'm not mistken, that UTG laser can be eaisly converted to an IR laser (or green laser) as well by replacing the module, cost about $75.00 for the module though.

I installed mine last night also..You know the light has a momentary button to push on the back correct? I opted to install the pressure switch on the 5 position folding UTG grip that I received also.

I had to really crank on the hex screw of the foregrip, but it did tighten down and I love the thing..
