My thanks to BELT FED - new shroud
I received my new shroud tonight and threw it on and snapped a couple of quick pics. Great service, great turn-around time, and great guy to deal with. He's busy, but he gets the job done. I had some custom specs that I wanted him to do, and he did it well. Looks great and fits flush and perfect.

The sling mount is standard on the MOE models. It's like that on both sides so you can mount a sling on either side. If you don't have a sling mount, I would get the Midwest Industries sling mount that goes over the buffer tube.

In the Classifieds post, sticky thread at the top of this forum, he says in there to send him an email and not a PM since his box fills up. He got back to me pretty quick through email.

Looks great - very nice! How does it attach? Set screw on the bottom, or?

It screws right into the barrel. Since I have the MOE version, it already comes with a threaded barrel. Just unscrew the flash hider and screw on the shroud.

That looks really good if you don't mind me asking how much did that run you and what was the turn around time on it?

Yup. I removed my handguard at first and it looked weird. I put the handguard back on and screwed the shroud back on and it sat flush with the handguard and looked really good. No gaps, no openings, nothing like that so everything looked good and flowed well (you can kind of see it in my 2nd pic at the top - I'll try to take better pics later if needed).
Perfect fit. No modifications needed. And great craftsmanship on the part.
