Default Hey MBUS people

If you got the MOE or just the sights separately, I'm assuming those two little pins that come in a baggy are for them, right? I just remembered when I was opening my rifle's box the other day that those two pins are in there. At first, I thought they were extra punch pins for the lower receiver but realized those aren't the ones.
They just go into that hole on the elevation sight? Why are there two different sizes?

I have had sets of the MBUS Gen I and the MBUS Gen II now and never received extra pins with them. Not sure what you have there....The Gen II comes with a custom front sight adjustment thumb driver.

They're to pin the front post in place since there's no good detent on the sight. The longer one is for having the sight in a taller position.

Oh okay, I thought so. I remember reading the instructions for the things and it said you can lock it in place with something and I had this face:

The longer one is if you have the post wayyy up there? The smaller one doesn't just sink in there does it? Don't want to have to fish it out
