fake suppressor for mp 15-22?
Does anyone know who sells or makes FAKE suppressors for the 15-22? Suppressors are illegal on Guam. I just want one for cosmetic purposes. Thanks.

If your barrel is already threaded , this one fits perfect.

I've purchased a fake suppressor from US Machinegun.com : Machine gun accessories of all types and also from Belt_Fed. The USmachinegun suppressor screwed on 'externally' to the barrel. The Belt_Fed suppressor/shroud screwed on and covered the barrel. But you can find fake suppressors anywhere these days, including on Ebay (although the quality may not be as good).
Here's a couple of examples (both add a good amount of weight the front of the 15-22, so if you're used to the rifle being light while supporting it with your off hand, then you'll need to get used to the extra weight)....

Forum members Belt_Fed and Tacticool22 recently joined S&W Forum Vendors. They both make fine products and have received great reviews from our Forum members.

I gotta say, these actually look kinda cool. I like the ones that sip over the barrel better.
I might have to get me one of these!
Thanks for the links.

Very cool. Did you need to do anything special with it, or was it pretty straight forward?
I noticed on the spikes tactical site they offer to different options, "Engraved As Shown" or "No Engraving" Will the option for no engraving come with out all the white writing on it? I think it would look better without all the writing on it.

I don't like all the writing either. It's too busy and I don't like paying for someone elses advertising.
Our threaded barrel shroud goes on threaded barrels, the non threaded shroud goes on non threaded barrels, or behind a flash hider.
Our shrouds can be turned around to make a fake suppressor.
Nothing special needs to be done.

No special tools needed, just a wrench or pliers of some sort to get your A2 off. Then pop then end of the handguard cap off and tighten the supressor on.
And yes the no engraving is without the writing.

Thanks for the information gentleman. I will look further into these. As cheesy as some may think these are, I think they look cool.
Thanks again for your time.

Re Spike's Tactical
I have just purchased a 15-22 for my son approx two weeks ago. I also purchased the fake suppressor from Spike's on the reccomendation of so many forum members. Got the engraved one & like the appearance of it.
Background on the purchase is that I am a member of the PD SWAT team & my 6y/o son has seen the SBR's we have & the MP-5's that are suppressed. He thought the fake can was COOOOL!
That made it very cool for the dad. Good luck with your decision!!!

I picked up a Gemtech fake last weekend. Comparing it to a real gemtech the only difference is a part number on the stamping.
