Aftermarket Magazine release button ?
Hey guys I am fairly new to the forums as A member. But I have been reading stuff on here for a few months.
I like to make my gun look different then others.
I have added a front grip and a red/green dot sight.
I just came across these custom Magazine release buttons online I bought one and it is real cool.
I have to take a picture to show you guys but I have not figured out how to post the pic yet.
So i hope to have the picture up soon.

That's the one I got. Looks Kool. Is totally unnecessary but many of the things we do with this weapon are. A small component but it is well made and is a precision fit.

Cool stuff, but nothing really grabs me.
Slight nudge toward the "Don't tread on me," but if they had a set of USAF wings,
or, say, a Patriots logo, I'd be all over it!
Cool, nonetheless. Amazing the stuff they have out there...

The ar ones will work but if you buy the lasered ones they are 15-22 specific because the back bin is held in place from the bottom under the hand grip on the 15-22 and on AR15 it is held in place from the rear of the gun.

One thing to remember, putting on an oversized mag release button is really not a good idea.. The standard size is all that is needed to operate the release, any larger and you may bump it and release the mag at the time you really need it. Yea, maybe the 22lr is not your home defense, but still bigger button, faster release easier... Good luck.

GREAT!, JUST GREAT. I get to the point where I feel my gun is as good as it will ever be, and I see this thread. I need more "stuff" like I need woman problems, but I feel this primal urge to buy the "zombie hunter" mag release parts!! It's just KEWL.

OK, OK, install the over size mag release, or DON'T... find a woman, and all your toys will be gone... lol... Plus you will loose all the closet space and most of the garage..... OK, install the over size mag. I agree with you now...... enjoy.

Is there some aftermarket stuff to release the mag from the other side (e.g. ideal for a lefty)?
/sorry for small hijack/

Yes, there is, it replaces the actual latch with a "New latch" with a lever welded to it so you can press it from the LEFT side of the lower receiver.. Note: It will be just below the bolt release, so take care when you slam your plam on the bolt release during a mag change, you may drop a mag, slam a new mag in, and plan to slam the bolt release and also the mag release as well... Seen it done on the range with Leftys... Pretty funny to see grown Officers pull the trigger on a live course and no mag is in the weapon.. Truely a Kodac moment..
