At first I wanted the Magpul RVG. It just looked the nicest. Then when I compared it to the Tapco side by side, I kind of liked the Tapco. Then the store associate handed me a rifle with the AFG. Now I am just confused.
I am also cheap. If I spend $40 on something, I can't just through it in a box if I don't like it and buy something else.

I am a big fan of the Magpul AFG's I love mine.
There definitely not for everyone. I would suggest to try and find someone that has one on there rifle and actually try it out and see how it feels to you.

I was thinking that I could use a VFG as a "pistol" grip or similar to the AFG. VFG seems more versatile. I do like the look of the AFG, and the size of it.

It looks like the AFG grip is clearly winning the poll.
I could get it locally for $42 OTD or $33-34 online. Is it worth saving $9 and waiting a few days. I like getting things right away but there it is also enjoyable to get a package in the mail.

Yeah I have the RVG and I just bought a AFG2.
I'm having a hard time deciding which I like best.
I'm kind of leaning towards my RVG..its a little more comfortable on my hands when indexing/gripping the front of the rifle.
However, like the others said its all personal preference/hand size.
Try both styles out and see what you like.
If you go with an AFG get the Gen 2, takes up a lot less rail space and looks a little better then the first one.

Saw a Magpul AFG2 at a paintball store. Guy there said it is exactly the same one as the AFG2 used on "real" rifles. I wasn't sure about it but it looked legit. I read somewhere that there are actual accessories that say a big name like Magpul but are made for airsoft rifles.
