just ordered my m&p 15-22
got the 811033 model for $557 after all the taxes which i feel might be a little more than i should have paid but considering it was the only shop in my area that had them in stock i didnt really have much of a choice. either way price aside i'm really excited about my new purchase and was hoping i could get some suggestions on some cool add-ons i should look into getting

Welcome and great name by the way I love it! You are definitely going to want more mags, and I don't have any specific brands or models but some cool adds you may want to consider would be rail covers, a red dot, possibly a different grip and then maybe a fore grip. You might want to check out Belt-fed's extended charging handle latch, he also makes barrel shrouds. As does Tacticool22. All great stuff to put on the gun. Take a look at the picture thread as well. There you can see what others have done and get some good ideas.
Also...buy LOTS of ammo!!!

Not familiar with the "811033" model exactly... But if it's anything like my 15-22 w/flash sup I'm sure you'll love it!!
I won't tell u what I paid for mine to be nice as you'll soon find out can't put a price (within reason) on the fun that is to come. Personally have not had any desire for more mags after close to 2k rounds cuz you can reload 25 in about 30 seconds. Give the optics some thought and decide what is going to best fit your needs... Red dot is great for indoors or 50 yds and closer, but a standard scope is really best choice IMO.
Like the previous post said, ammo ammo and more ammo! Haha You'll be surprised how fast a box of 500 goes. Look into a trigger upgrade if you've spent a lot of time shooting as well.
Enjoy!

Yes ammo. With out knowing your style, I don't want to speak to what brand, style or type of something you should or shouldn't buy. I do suggest spending a little extra for higher quality in some cases, but that is still up to you.
Overall some things to look into:
Optics, the overall experience is so much better with a good sighting system and are something to look into right off the bat. I got the things I thought were important for function first: optics, fore grip, sling, and case.
Now I'm working on the toys. I recommend looking at the picture thread and writing down things you like. it's a good starting point and some people list what they have on their gun.

it means the end of the barrel has threads on it like a bolt or screw. Many options like muzzle breaks(what came with the gun) flash suppressors, compensators, shrouds (look like silencers/suppressors but do not reduce the noise of the gun so they don't require the qov't paper work.) all screw onto the front of the barrel. The barrel is threaded to 1/2X 28mm, you will see this spec on accessories.

I have 6 mags. I always go shooting with friends, so it allows me to shoot 3 mags while they reload the other 3, and then we switch and they shoot when I reload. Trust me, your friends will want to shoot this gun.

I guess it depends on where and what kind of shooting you do. I have 10 mags now. Will probably grow to 20.
A indoor range I go to in the winter charges $8.00 per hour for a lane. I see people all the time use at least half of their time loading mags.
I like to shoot so with 20 mags I will be able to load up before going, and just shoot a bulk box.
When walking trough the woods looking for whatever, 3 mags would/should be more than plenty.
Just me!
