I love - have already placed a pre-order - the gripp on a 25-er,
and am eagerly waiting for the DE version
to be honest, on an 10-er they don't look bad, but could be a lot nicer!
the old hole is a no go on a 10-er ,
the new hole version is better, but ...
a straight line bottom(*) would be A LOT (sorry for shouting) cooler.
Yes this would mean making a new mold, with extra developing costs, but I for one would be prepared to pay a premium.
* I mean that the bottom would be straight, as does the Gripp does on a 25-mag, but with the dimensions changed a bit to fit the 10-mags, so they don't have that ugly nick in them

Fumbled with it all the way back home and I am delighted to find that it fits! There needs to be another hole for the short mag locking pin and that's easy to do without any tear up. I'm considering another filler piece that fits in between the gap though.
So one part fits both! But aesthetics? Well, you be the judge of it!

Looks pretty cool. If the shorty mags filled the whole space by widening it and making its own mold that would be killer, and then you would need to sell the Gripps in 10 packs

I think it looks awsome on the 10 rounders, would those affect anything for bench rest shooting?

Depends on the height of your front rest. It extends past the pistol grip, so yes it could hit the table/ground and be too long for rested shooting.

All colors are available as well as reduced pricing!
All colors are on board and ready to ship! Dark Earth, Foliage Green, Olive Drab and Black.
I am also adjusting for new pricing to be $20 per 3 pack shipped worldwide from Thailand. If you have reservations on ordering directly from here you can either:
a) purchase these through ebay where you are covered with their buyer protection policy. Look them up under "GRIPP 15-22" effective from 20th September onwards.
b) wait a little while until I get these across to a US dealer near you.
While the current GRIPP magtabs fit and work for the 10 rounders (at a rather odd position) I'm working on a tool modification to acheive a better fit. So this will come as a running change for 10 rounder as well.
Thanks to all for the feedback. It is a great community here!

I am glad to see products like this made for the 15-22 and they do look great. But it is something I think I will pass on not because of price either but just something I wouldn't use and I don't need on my weapon. I believe you can just put too much stuff/**** on your 15-22.

Just finished reading all of the messages that everybody sent, and I have to say I'm impressed with the great response and help you gave this fellow enthusiast. I have issues with the usual snarky jerks on other forums that cop attitudes to anything new or unusual that THEY didn't invent. Kudos to you all, and best of luck to GRIPP in your new business!! Sawadee khup!

Still waiting to actually get my 15-22 (currently on order) so that I can try 'em out though...

From the pictures, it looks like the Green Foliage tabs match the color of the 15-22 mags a little better than the Black tabs (obviously with a slight greenish tinge). Any comments on that from those of you that got your order already?

just received my gripps.
quite happy with them,
fit is tight (that's good)
the DE coloured ones are a a near perfect match to the colour of the original Magpul DE parts on my smithy.

Is cost decreased if more are purchased at a time? It seems that a fairly large part of the cost would be in international shipping. If someone were to order 10 or 20 at a time, would there be much/any savings from a single shipping cost?

just got my black ones. the fit could be a little snugger (the tiniest bit), overall they seem to be good stuff.
after install i was not able to easily tear it off by pulling up on it or twisting it off, so they do seem to be quite durable (figured I'd torture one for science). nice job

Martin...the item looks great...although i have similar questions as other posters have...i.e. ease of installation, price, product quality, etc...but would certainly enjoy being part of any product test group you decide upon.

don't think these are a test product, but a retail one at this point. installation is super easy and takes 20-30 seconds per mag. as i posted above the first thing i did was try to break one, and it is solid. for price check the classifieds on here, or ebay (3 for $20 shipped).

Mine have made a few trips to the range already, and they hold up just fine. They can take some punishement and don't come off (up to present) when I drop my magazines.
One way I considered to improve them, is to have the sides of the thubmbhole be a bit narrower than the bottom, for a even more positive grip
I like them!
oh, and the DE matches up with original Magpull DE!

I bout a 3 pack From Martin. There 100% good to go. It took 14 days to get them from Thiland to Illinois. Theres no rattle, no movement. I did a training session with my 2 cousins, and put 555 rounds threw the gun/mags with the gripp on it. THey have stood up to drops/pulls, dumps. after 2 hours of contiunes droping they werent even scratched. I have to say though this was done in the woods, on ground that was firm but not hard. THere was sticks, little rocks(bout the size of quarters). I dont have a vest, so i use my pockets. ANd with the tabbs stcking out of the leg cargo on the bdus, these are very quick to stick your finger and pull. then you can twiral it and rn it into the mag well. I'm happy with them. Phil

Ordered a set through eBay, looking forward to getting these on the mags. Rifle is being picked up tomorrow. Hoping they get here soon, it's been a little bit since the order shipped. Glad everyone has good experiences so far. I'm excited!

If you get a US distributor and ship to him in mass that would definitely decrease shipping turn around and you could possibly sell them cheaper and save us money without hurting your profit since you wont be consistently paying for shipping from Bangkok.

Just got mine in today. Installs easily enough. Looks pretty kewl. Shipping was faster than expected. Price ...$20/3 was a little high, but it had free shipping so I guess it is well worth it. Overall..a 4.5 out of 5. Now its time to go to the range and try them out.!!!!
PS they are really robust, I don't forsee anything happening to these for years!! Great product.

GrippEquip, Yes, I am interested, being from California, we only have 10 round mags. S&W does sell the 25 mag with the 10 rd limite that your existing Gripp's will fit. But many members have the small 10 rd mags as well. I would love to see the same design on that for sure. It really makes getting that small mag easier to get in the pouch.. Thanks keep up the great upgrades, love it...

The current one will fit on 10-rounders, just not flush on all edges.

I don't know what fast service you're talking about. I ordered some on Feb 24 and haven't seen any sign of them. I'm ordering more from Tacticool 22, but a little disappointed in grippequip.

That's a shame Shawn, but I've personally ordered a couple of sets of Gripp Tabs via Martin's eBay listing and had pretty quick service both times.
First lot was when he first released them to market; last ones were ordered start of Feb and arrived here (in the UK) in a week. Not bad for free international delivery!
Message to Martin would be in order first - I'm sure he'll address your enquiry.
