Why do you need a new upper ? Maybe the old could be repaired.

They may not be selling them but they may have the parts on hand for repairs. Check with them about repairing your pistol. Nick

You evidently have access to S&W part numbers. Is there a list somewhere that the rest of us can see?

I do not have a list of part numbers. This part number was gained via back and fourth communication with S&W Support.
This is the correct part number for the upper receiver. But S&W does NOT call it the upper receiver, that is why when ordering you get no where.. Give them the part number instead.

Perhaps a thread could be started where known part numbers are listed along with the "latest" price. Maybe even a photo of the part could be included....

Yep. That's just the bare upper receiver, not Upper. No other parts.

If you think about it, it's just a polymer part. I imagine the most expensive part of the 15-22 to produce is the barrel.

Dragon,
Finally something I agree with you on!
I knew it had to happen at some point!
I can't imagine (aside from development/tooling costs) there is much more than $2.00 worth of raw materials that go into all the polymer parts on the 15-22

I think that idea of a thread with parts #'s and a fairly close price list is a good one

Is there a part # for a new lower? Mines got some scratches on it and if I can get one for a decent price, why not?

The lower is the firearm. Buying a new one means buying a new 15-22.
