Default jamming

my m&p 15-22 likes to jam even shooting slow the spent shell doesnt get clear of the recever by the time the next round is in the breach and gets mashed in the eject. if i use stinggers its not as bad .is there any thing i can ajust or am i just stuck buying high dollar ammo

Sounds like you need the ejector tweak, or send it in and let S&W do it for you.

I agree with Juvicator. Sounds like an ejector. You need to be sure that the spent cartridge is not riding along the ejector on its way out. It only needs to hit on the little hook at the end to be kicked out of gun. If it hits along the length of the ejector it can get kicked out of the little pocket in the bolt. I had to do a lot of messin' with my 15-22p to get it to work right, but it is flawless now. Luckily, I had a perfectly functioning 15-22 carbine to compare.
