Question Magpul ctr

I've just finished doing a search and was not able to find an answer, so here it goes.........

I like the look of the CTR. I want one. Which ones are compatable with the 15-22? And finally...$90 ...really??????

Anyone have one for sale, where did they get them, how much? Do they just slip on like the factory S&W one?

thanks in advance everyone.

Get the "Mil-Spec" size for your 15-22. Yes $90, Magpul products are Made in the USA and very high quality. They are worth every penny. Don't buy knockoffs or airsoft chinese junk on Ebay.

I completely agree with Dragon88 on all points...I've got one and it's a huge improvement over the original one. I also added a .70" Magpul rubber pad on mine. I highly suggest buying from a reputable source as well. I posted pics last night on the pic thread...last ones on the page:

thanks again.

Milspec tube

The CTR has the friction lock lever that takes out all the wiggle.
It also has a built in QD socket.

The MOE stock doesn't rattle as much on the 15-22 as it does on a real extension tube. If you want to save a few bucks, get the MOE. The only difference is the friction lock as mentioned.

Also, I highly recommend the riser. It's not necessary, but it looks cool, and for most 15-22 mods coolness is the entire point.

thanks guys for all your help. I just orderd a MOE mil-spec in black from some amazonian type site for $52.96 with free 2 day delivery. The pics did it for me!! thanks. I can't see spending $40 more for a friction lock and sling attach point.

you folks here are the best!!! thanks to you all for "making" me spend mucho dinero on my 15-22. I just need to stop looking at everyone's pics...lol

Do you have empty rail space still? If so, the madness is far from over.

sort of, i have a box full of stuff i have bought over time. i seem to keep getting stuff. trying different set-ups till i find "my" perfect set up. with all the new stuff coming out, i really don't se any end to it all either.

on a side note, this forum should have a badge near our avatar for those of us who have 20 or more things that we could mount on our 15-22's. lol
