Congrats! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Any ideas on which "goodies" you want to affix to your 15-22?

I'm a student at ECU (hometown is the Charlotte area) where do you shoot in the area? I will be getting my 15-22(and MY first gun) on Christmas. I've looked around alittle and came across Paradise Hunting Preserve. Any experience there?

It's a real nice place. The cost is $15.00/day (seems to me $10.00 would be more reasonable). Look it up on the net to see pix.
I live on a small farm and shoot there. Shoot me a PM - perhaps we could get together out back.

I'm in north Raleigh (Wakefield). Just got mine recently from north Raleigh guns. If interested my club (Durham county wildlife club) has some upcoming 22 tactical competitions coming up

It's a great club and membership is pretty cheap $175 a year plus $100 initiation fee. But shooting is 2.50 a day for the rifle/pistol range and 2.50 for a round of shotgun sports (skeet, trap, etc). Also has a great stocked lake
