Default Magpul MOE vs PTS

Ok, before you guys flame me, yes I have been doing research on it. I know the PTS stuff is "cheap" or "airsoft" stuff, but really... what's the difference. When we're talking about plastic this vs plastic that, how much of a difference can there be? The PTS MBUS sights are $60 cheaper, but they're both plastic, both spring loaded, both metal where needed, and both stamped with Magpul. Same goes with the stocks and grips. I know the NON-CTR stocks all have wiggle room, so how much cheaper can you get with the PTS model? Also, I know the arguement could be made that with the PTS MBUS for example, a 5.56 round could "shock" it out of zero while firing, but I dont see that happening on a 15-22. Anyone use any of the PTS stuff? Thanks!

I just ordered at set from eBay for $18.95 shipped. Will post results once I've tried them.
My intent for the sights is purely for looks, as they'll be stuck beneath a PA 1x4 scope. But I plan to try sighting them just to see what the difference may be? My guess is there won't be much if any. I'm betting they're the exact same thing as the MOE, just made in China.

They arent ALL made in China? Now thats a surprise! I was just looking at those on ebay at the same price point, which is what made me curious. Thanks in advance for the report!

the pts has a plastic front sight post, a hex screw lock instead of a roll pin on the sight post and the aperature is the same color as the sight not matter what and on the usa they are always black. they are different plastic, cheaper spring etc. i have a set and they work fine. very accurate and great for plinking. i wouldn't take them into battle but for the 15-22 they are great

I read a complaint about having to push both sides to engage the sights at times. But at the price I'm willing to take a chance. Fail wagon it's good to know somebody shooting a 15-22 likes them.

I bought a front hand grip that was an air soft one, an air soft flashlight, and air soft red dot. I agree, the 15-22 won't shock it out of zero like the 5.56. However, when it comes to optics, such as the red dot, you get what you pay for. I got a china made red dot made for air soft at 3/4 the cost of a Primary Arms red dot. It isn't the best of quality, but it'll work for the time being. It's a starter rifle for me to train on so I am more fluent when I get the 5.56 and 6.8

I forgot to mention... I got the MOE version of the 15-22, and sometimes it takes both sides pushed down to get the sight to fold up
