Default new guy

Good evening everyone. Picked up my 15-22 2 weekends ago,was on sale and got my ladies permission by buying her a pink walther p22. So far I have put 250 rounds through it and I am impressed. been lurking around looking for info since its my first ar frame. seems like you all are a good bunch with lots of knowledge to share (found some goods threads and put them to use already) first mods below and i know there are plenty more to come.

Tacticrayola

Houge pistol grip & Mako magwell grip

I spent ~30min removing material from the Mako to get it to fit perfectly, i knew i was going to have to when purchased. feels good does not interfere with the magazine at all.

thanks! removing material wasn't that bad. there was plenty of material all over so i just took my time and removed small amounts with test fits until it fit.

I thought about doing that to my M&P15-22 but I bought the magpul foregrip instead.

Gunzilla was spot-on with that "addiction" comment! There are some things in life that seem made for constant personalization and improvement: 1911 pistols, Harley motorcycles, leggy blond ladies (as I recall!) and M&P 15-22's are some of the most enjoyable. Of the items I've listed, 15-22's seem to be the least expensive to modify and possibly the hardest to screw up. You've bought one of the best platforms in the firearms world to experiment with; enjoy!

Aren't most hobbies addicting? between the guns, golf, quads, car, and keeping the lady happy i have to budget the fun money and I try to spread it around.shooting is great cause she shoots both her walther p22 and my m&p9c better than i do and doesnt mind spending couple hours at the range informing me of it. at least i got her with this one, for now anyways.
