Default Looking at getting a 15-22 in the next 5-6 weeks...

I'm planning on getting a S&W 15-22 in the next few months and Practicooling it over the course of the next year or two, in accordance with available funds and such. I'm planning on "building" this one piece at a time, after I sell my run of the mill 597.

First phase of purchasing:
Rifle itself! 15-22 with comp, ordered through my favorite gun store.

Second purchase: 5 10 round magazines and 2 25 rounders and sling.
Third: Streamlight TLR-1 and brass catcher.
Fourth: MBUS front and rear and paintball trigger boot.
Fifth: Enough XTM 1913 (or Ladder) rail covers for the front end, leaving the top rail alone, and original Magpuls for the 25 rounders (or Gripp MagTabs).
Sixth: AFG2 and Brownells spring kit.
Seventh: Burris FastfireII and YHM riser for absolute co-witness.
Eight: Accurate Armory TI-7.

Going to shoot it like this for a while, then start phase two:
First: Burkett Offset Mount 2.
Second: Bushnell Banner 6-24x40mm Mil-Dot with mount and flip-up lens covers

Final phase will be far, far in the future: A suppressor. Probably a Huntertown Arms Micro Guardian or B.

Optional: Guitar hanger.

Any one have any bad experiences with anything I've listed, is there anything I need to run away from? Any input is appreciated.

ETA: Another optional, future purchase: Maybe a Pelican 1700 Long gun case? Seems a worthy investment. And find those custom-fitted foam inserts just plain sexy.

Right out of the block, I'd get some quality shooting time with the iron sites before upgrading. Personally, I'd skip the 10 round mags and stick with 25s. Depending on where you're going to shoot it, skip the brass catcher as well, unless you have to police your own brass. Most likely you'll want a case early on, too.

Take some time if funds are limited. Shoot, read, ask questions, and repeat.

Sorry, "paintball trigger shoe". Increases the area of a given trigger, lessening perceived trigger pull with no modification of springs or surfaces. Figured I'd give it a try before upgrading the springs or anything like that.

My train of thought is that 10 rounders would make it easier shooting bipod-less and prone (I'm a fan of hasty slings), and yes, I do have to police my brass. One of the rules of my range.
