Do use touch the Rear Sight 6/3?
Do you use the elevation wheel on the rear site. I moved it up and down and it doesnt seem to do anything that I notice???

What range are you shooting? The 3 is for up to 300 yards, the 4 up to 400, etc. If you are shooting at 50 yards, it will make a difference, but not that much.
Also, it is designed to work with a 5.56 round, not a 22LR, so when adjusting the trajectory out of the 15-22 will be different than the what the sites are designed for.

Pretty much, unless you are doing some long distance shooting. With the 22LR round, the numbers wont correspond the same, but if you are shooting a longer distance (100+ yards) then adjust the elevation up a couple clicks, and that would bring your front post to the POI again, instead of having to aim above the target.

i placed a boresighter to see if I could just play around and line up the sights and the red laser is on the front post, no matter what I do I cant get the laser dot to the top of the post which would be dead on! Not sure if its the boresighter or if its off a little. I got the boresighter for a scope I bought but havent used yet, what are your thoughts,

How far away is the target you are using the boresighter with? If you are trying to zero for 50 yards, anything closer than that will be below the top of the post, since the sights are above the bore. If you move closer, the dot will get further down the post.
If the target you are aiming at is the distance you want to sight in at, then place your rear sight elevation at 6/3, then turn your front sight post so that it lowers to where the laser is pointing. Then you should be all set up and zeroed, and will be able to adjust the rear elevation for longer distances.

Google "A2 adjustable front sight" and you should find a write up on how to raise/lower the post.

You need to push down on the detent that is at the base and then rotate accordingly. I believe rotating clockwise will lower the post, raising the point of impact higher (might be wrong). I find it easiest with an A2 front sight adjustment tool, which can be found on amazon for cheap.

The manual doesn't mention that. However, if you are using the factory sights (non-Magpul) then all adjustment can be done with the rear sight.

I wouldn't though. I would always do a zero with your rear elevation at 6/3 and then rotate the front sight post. That way, if you need to make quick elevation adjustments you can use the rear and turn it back easily without losing your original zero. YMMV.

Interesting point that I hadn't considered. The 15-22 is the only firearm I own that has an adjustable front sight.
