I have a Vortex Sparc with a LaRue QD 1/3 Co-Witness.

Suggest looking at a red dot that is designed for an AR platform with riser. Check out Primary Arms.

7mm for a Strikefire and EOtech on stock A2 type sights

It is a guess, until you mount the optic. Best way is to buy it and then using something under the mount, build it up to the height you want, and measure the build up. That the riser height you need. Depending on the optic and sights, I have used from 1/2 inch to 1 inch high risers.
