Default Scope Specific to AR 22's

Maybe its' out thar but I don't know about it -- a scope specific to AR 22's with crosshair dots @ 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 yards. Couple dots on the hort/windage crosshair would be nice too. What power? I don't know 2 x 8? 30mm tube would be nice as it would broaden the field of view over a 1" tube. Cost target less than 150. To me that would be prefect on my 15-22. In fact, I put it on a couple 22's I got.

Cabela's has a .22-specific scope with 50, 75 and 100 yard marks. It's a 3-9x40.

Cabela's: Cabela's Caliber-Specific Scopes

I doubt you'll find one marked as you described.

Edit: I don't know what's going on with Cabela's web site. One minute the .22LR model is in the list and the next it's gone.

I have a cheap Center Point scope from Wal-Mart on my 15-22 and it works amazing out to 100 yards. Have not tried shooting it further. Plain black crosshairs or it lights them in red or green.

I have something similar that I had on mine for a while. Its a pretty decent scope the only reason I took it off was because I upgraded to a Trijicon ACOG on my m&p 15 and put the Aimpoint on my .22. The scope is made by UTG picked it up at a gunshow. I didn't notice until I got home and checked out the box that it was designed for crossbows and air rifles. But it worked great on my rifle I actually was just recently talking about yanking the aimpoint off and selling it so I could put the UTG back on. Crazy I know but its really not a bad little scope.

Cabela's 22 scope didn't show up for me either. Know there's a Sweet 17 for 17HMR. The scope I envision would be more like a short tube pistol scope than the std. tube length rifle scope - would be a more ascetic size fitmen to the overall appearance of the complete package.

I have a Nikko Stirrling scope that has the dots with adj AO I dont know if its still available but Its very clear and mine was $82 3-9x42 I think. If you want to know specifics let me know and ill find the documentation and send it to you. I also have 2 Redfield revolution scopes and that is a really nice scope with a full no BS warranty.

Did a search regarding Mad Falcon's reply found Nikko Stirling has a 30mm tube in 1.5 x 6x with the dots reticle. Scope doesn't look to large to look outsized on the 15-22. I do a further search for pricing later after the Super Bowl is over.

Either the Nikon P-22 2-7x32 BDC-150 (new this year), or the Nikon Prostaff 4-16x42 BDC-150.

If you want tactical turrets and don't mind giving up a little magnification, the P-22 is the way to go. If you don't care about tactical turrets and want more magnification, get the ProStaff. There's also the Mueller 4-16x40 Tactical.

They're all 1-inch tubes, but I don't think that hurts them at all.
