Default 25yrd shooting 2 diff ammos

Just figuered i post up my shooting today
I was shooting at 25yrd as i am not into long range shooting
I was shooting basic CCI ammo and Walmart bulk FEDERAL ammo. (Also side note i am aware that i spelled Federal wrong on the plate i was shooting at.)

As for set up i m running MOE 15-22 with a sightmark qd reflex sight.

Ive had the same results. I like standard velocity CCi and they run great in the gun. Winchester 550 pack was all over the place.

I tried running the Winchester 550 pack but i had FTF none stop with them. No FTF with the CCI today shot about 100 rounds off them and 1 FTF on the Federal around 200 rounds shot today.

I too had the same results, the Winchester were about 3-4" spread with flyers for no reason at all. The CCI Blazer were 2-3" spread at 25 yards, with very limited flyers.

Then the CCI Tactical, results were 1-2" spread with NO FLYERs. I'm sticking to the CCI Tactical Ammo. I'd rather pay the higher price for cleaner and more accurate round.

CTD is Cheaper Than Dirt, another major mail-order retailer. While they often have really good prices, they will rip you off with their shipping charges. And if your order has to come from more than one of their warehouses, they will charge you a separate shipping on each item. They are my source of LAST resort.

There's really no such thing as a "cheap" price on CCI Tac. Most everyone charges the same (or a little more) for 375 rounds of it as they do for 525 rounds of Federal Champion. Cabela's, for instance, has 2,100 rounds of the Federal on sale for $75 and 1,500 rounds of the CCI for $95.

I don't see a significant enough difference in my own 15-22 to pay the difference in price over the Federals.

CCI Tactical, from my own words are:
1. Clean, light wax coated in bulk 375 box.
2. Copper plated, bullet are tight to casings.
3. Powder burns clean than most.
4. Primer solid, I have had zero duds, no flyers no FTF or FTEs.
5. Since copper plated, no leading in the barrel for cleaning.

These are why I have made CCI Tactical my ammo to use, the price is not an issue when you have the above. I am lucky my M&P fires every kind of ammo I put in it, some have issues, others work better. CCI have been very good in my rifle as well as others. Use what works you will enjoy shooting more..
