Default BiPod Help

Looking to add a BiPod to my son's M&P 15-22. Gotta say this is by far the best firearm we've owned out of the box. So good I sold my G*ock and bought M&P9 and never looked back. M&P all the way!! Back to the thread...we added the Primary Arms Red Dot thanks to other recommendations but now we need a BiPod of some sort. Wanted to throw it out to the experts here on what will simply plug and play on the 15-22s. See some that act as a front grip and pull out to a BiPod which look good, but need some feedback on what to avoid and what to get.
Thanks again!

I got this Amazon.com: Tactical Weaver Hand Grip & Bipod: Sports & Outdoors and it works perfect.

I have the Mako G2 T-Pod, is serves as a front grip as well as a bipod. It's a little on the pricey side, and you can now find cheaper copies on Ebay ~ 40.00, the real deal will cost ~150.00. Mako has one similar, first model, that is a bit cheaper, and it doesn't rotate like the G2. I like the rotation feature, and the deployment of the G2 is easier as well, sometimes a little too easy if you aren't paying attention.

Other than that, any picatinny rail mount bipod or grip will fit your M&P 15-22.

I bought my son a NCStar bipod, I like it, something worth check in to, no visible springs as well.

I use a Harris 9"-13". I use it on four other rifles, as well.

I use this adapter on the 15-22:

Looks good and I bet it will be alot of fun. When shooting from a bipod on my 15-22 I find my zero changes the more pressure I put on the stock. It makes since it is all plastic. Just be aware of how you hold it on a bipod.
