Give him time
It took about a week for him to email me back. It is a nice peace worth the wait

I emailed him through the board's message system. In other words, I clicked on this user profile and then selected "Send email" as I recall. It just took him a few days to get back to me.

At this point, it appears that it exists only on their web site.

If it makes you feel better I sent him $20 for the charger. Check cashed on 2-9... still no handle. Bo response to PMs. But I know he'll get it to me.

Just to let everyone know. I received an email from Eric at Plinker Tactical 2 days ago regarding their charging handle. This is what he told me. It's not much from what I think other people have been hearing from them but for anyone whose interested read on below:
The handles will be in several stores, but you can certainly buy on-line from Green Top Sports in Glenn Allen Virginia. Retail is $62.00. Machined from aircraft billet with a steel latch. They will ship to the dealer at the end of the month.

Hey guys, I just want to ask what are the advantages to having an aftermarket/oversized charging handle? I'm new to tactical firearms, and the one for the 15-22 does feel a little flimsy I guess, but I was wondering the advantages of it, I might want to buy one!

It can be easier to reach under a low/long scope plus if you are in a rush you have a bigger object to hit.

Mine is a royal PITA to get to under my scope (I have to basically turn it upside down and use two hands...so this makes it easier

Or if you are using gloves. Just something longer to give you a better purchase.

not yet. no latch, no responses, check cashed. Not very happy right now. I understand life happens, but this is business and if you are going to cash my check then have the decency to simply mail the part out.

It installed easy as could be. I used a bench block to support the handle and used my smallest pin punch to drive the pin out. I made sure I had the latch in hand so it couldn't spring out, and then removed the punch and inserted the new latch. I then pushed the pin punch in to line things up, drove the roll pin back down pushing the other punch out of the way and was done in about 3 minutes.
It works great and is way easier to reach now that my scope is out the way.

I will have the extended latch with an aluminum charging handle soon. Check the *** 15-22 Specific CLASSIFIEDS *** for more info.
They're not cheap, but they are not plastic.

Looks suspiciously like the one from Plinker Tactical.
If the price is good, I'd rather buy from you than some mass-merchandiser.

I spoke with Belt_Fed. He is dealing with family matters, that along with work picking up has made things tough. It sounds like things may be calming down, if you have unanswered requests try sending them through his website. beltfed.weebly.com

Got mine today and installed it minutes ago!
I just had to tweak it slightly by leveraging out the latch release a bit with a flat screwdriver so that it would clear the catch, but it worked fine after that. It looks and feels good!
