Talking Best Day Yet!

Went to the range yesterday (2/22/12) and was introduced to the pop-up steel targets . Even with my weekly membership I still had to pay an extra $20 . After being instructed on the use of the Remote ( which has ten settings) & the shooting lanes, I was ready to go. Starting out with all the targets displayed, I loaded my weapon with a 25 rd. mag. and began to knock down the steel targets from the closest to furthest. As I progressed through the nine different settings I realized that I had gone through 225 rds. and had only 1 jam!
BTW I was using several types of ammo (Fed. Champion bulk, 36gr. CPHP, CCI Mini-Mags 36gr. CPHP, Fed. AM-22 40gr. LRN
Target Grade & last Win. Super-X 37gr. HVHP) all shot flawlesly! Before I knew it my time was up (1hr=$20) so as I exited the shooting lanes (with a big ) the RO at the check out counter didn't have to ask if I had a good time. All in all it was well worth the extra money! If it weren't for being on a fixed income, I would be doing this more often . It looks like I'm going to have to start a Steel Target Shooting Fund .
