Best Target for zeroing in my M&P 15-22
Went to TARGETZ.COM and saw all kinds of targets that were free to download and print. Just wondering, what would be the best type of target to zero in my M&P15-22 at 25 and 100 yards?

Preferably something that has 1" pattern for a ways around the center. Makes it easy to determine adjustments needed for height and windage.

The 1" grid pattern targets will make it easier for you whether you have optics or iron sights.
I pretty much always use the 1" grid targets now to zero my scopes. I steer away from black squares, etc. as I can't see the bullet holes. I tend to go for red, yellow, etc.

am I missing something? the first target says to set the rear site at 8/3, the second says to set at one past 8/3. both targets look the same to me. Yes I do realize this is for the ar15 not the 15-22.

personally i like using a diamond (square on a corner) target.
crosshairs line up perfectly with the corners;
red-dot fits nice in the middle;
irons fit nice in the middle.

One is for the M-4, the other is for the M-16A2. On the M-16 one click past 8/3 is the 25 meter setting to zero with.
