Default Scope Question....

I have a relatively inexpensive Leapers armored 4x with green/red illumination. It's on my 15-22. Eye relief is'nt all that great iether.

The scope, for the money I paid, stays zeroed in and works OK for what it is.

Here's the question folks:

the cross hairs are tilted a hair to the right and I can't seem to find a way to adjust that. What I'm trying to describe is that the upright cross hair is a shade towards 7 oclock at the bottom, 1 oclock at the top. Make sense?

Sorry if this sounds numb, I'm not really a scope guy.

Regards.

Any way to adjust or fix it, do I need to, or is it just a cheap scope?

If it has an integrated mount then send it back to the manufacturer or live with it. Otherwise, loosen the scope ring screws, turn the scope, tighten the screws.

loosen the eight screws on the top and rotate till correct and tighten each ring like u would a tire on your car,,, using the cross pattern to tighten, turning each screw about half a turn each time till tight.... this will keep the ring from canting the scope as u tighten it back down,,, then u should be good to go

best way to get it right is tighten the mount to the rifle,,, put the rifle in a vice of some sort and level the rifle by using a level on the upper rail,,, when the rifle is level hang a weight on a string or use a plum-bob and square up the cross hair to the string while the rifle is level,,,,, that's the best way to do get it right

its not really all to important on a .22lr for it to be perfect but im picky about scope mounting and it usealy takes me more than an hour to get it as perfect as possible

but i take my sub standard Mossburg 4X4 and bust milk jugs out at 1000 yards (30,06) for that scope mounting is critical
