Price check on M&P 15-22 MOE DE
Hello everyone, new member here thinking about joining the S&W family.
I am negotiating on a M&P 15-22 MOE DE. The gun is used (500 rounds) but on great shape. What is a good price to pay for it?
Thanks in advance, and if I do buy it I will post some pictures....

Today is Saint Patrick's day, most are out more than likely. I paid $450 for mine new. If it has only had 500 rounds shot through it than it probably is in good shape. I would think $400 is fair.YMMV

Well depending where you're from. I paid 525 for mine brand new. If the price used is close to that by 50 bucks or so, I'd say go new.

Hi up here in Maine @ Cabela’s a new one goes for $479.99 (for a plain Jane $699.99 for the one with the magpul furniture and sight already installed)
Other than being DE does it have any other “upgrades” like sights, stock, optics, lights, grips or lasers?
As this would make a difference in the price to me (and you will get them eventually)
500 rounds to me is one range trip, why is he/she getting rid of it (any function problem’s?)
The only reason I go new 99% of the time when purchasing a weapon is… I know it was not abused before I got it, do you know the person personally and how the weapon was treated?
Things to think about….

I wouldn't pay over 350.00 for it. Is it worth more, hard to say, that's up to a potential buyer. If I'm buying used, I want a GOOD price, not an OK price.

I paid $570 for a new MOE. Pricey, but they had it in stock. I could have mail ordered from buds gun shop for $503 or something like that plus $30 local FFL transfer fee. I figured it was worth $40 to have it RIGHT NOW, rather than deal with ordering one. Plus Bud's was out of stock at the time. So I would think $400 for a used one, or just buy a new one.
