Help finding a scope.
Hey guys,
I've been looking for a particular scope for a bit - can't seem to get settled on one. I'm not wanting a $500 scope or a crazy nice one to slap on the 15-22. As long as it holds zero I could care less at this point. I do have some requirements that are kind of hard to find, so maybe you guys will know of one.
1. 30mm Tube
2. Variable Power
3. Would prefer 3-9, but would deal with a 2-7, would prefer something higher than a 1-4x
4. I would prefer a nice thick reticle, something easily seen.
3a. I would actually prefer a Circle X reticle. (Easiest for my eyes to pick up)
5. Budget friendly ($100 - $200)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have two UTG SWAT compact AO scopes 3-12x44. They have a mil dot reticle, thicker than what you get on a Burris or nikon. They are also a 30mm tube. Can be bought on amazon for a hundred bucks shipped.
Both have been excellent, clear bright optics and have held zero on both my 15-22 and my son's Sig522. The have the adjustable side focus. Come with flip up lens covers and mounts that would on the 15-22. Also has the ability to have the reticle lit up in several colors should you choose to do so, but other then trying that out when I first got it, I never use it.

The Mueller APT is 4.5-16x40, has a 30mm tube, and is well within the $200 price range.

If you like a circle x type reticle with 2-7x magnification for under $200 I would suggest taking a look at Redfield.

If you can live with a 32mm tube, check out the Nikon P22. Designed for 22 rim fire cartridges, 2x7 magnification and choice of Nikoplex or Bullet Drop Compensator reticle. $179 at optics planet.

I think you meant 32mm objective. It's got a 1-inch tube.

Thanks Phil, I'll look through the list later today.
I was hoping someone knew of one with a Circle Reticle just off hand. Thanks again for the help.

New Nikon P-22 AR scope for .22's. There's a sale with a free mount. 1" tube though.

I think the Prostaff 3-9x40 is a better choice (more power and bigger objective). If they would put the target turrets on the ProStaff, it would be a much better rimfire tactical scope. The P22 smells like a repurposed version of their existing shotgun scope (similar specs).
