Default would this be a good set up?

I want something other then my irons but im not sure what yet.
I have been considering a 1.5-5x32 illumination scope with tri-rails and then putting a mini reflex on top of it. Does anyone know if this would be a good set up?

You can pick up the Primary Arms micro dot on a good mount with one of their 3x magnifiers in a flip mount for right around $350 out the door.

I have not. Would that be more efficient then on top of the scope?
