Will the Magpul BAD lever for the AR-15 work on the 15-22?

Hi and welcome to the fourm.

My understanding is it will with some bending as the M&P 15-22 is not quite the same dimensions in the trigger section.

However a member of this forum is actually making them for mass production sale....if you go this route you'll have to wait for them to come out…

Here’s the link to the thread of the one thats being made

My review of the Juvicator B.A.D. lever.

With some adjustment to the lever, yes it will. Check this thread:

If you just put it in a good vise and straighten some of the forward bend in the arm it will work fine. That and a little grinding on the forward edge of the arm. And I mean don't just use the vise to hold it so you can bend it but put the entire arm in the vise and squeeze it down until you have made the forward kink in it straighter.

Like Photoracer said, the forward bend needs to be taken out but you also need to do some bending where the B.A.D. lever passes over the section where the mag release linkage is. If you don't do this then everytime you hit the mag release it will contact the B.A.D. lever sending your bolt closed.
I used a propane torch to heat my B.A.D. lever up so I could bend it with out breaking it. Not really hard to do, just some time for trial and error.

I ordered one before I knew if it would fit right and I just bent it a bit in a vise. Mine will drop the bolt if I push the mag release really hard, but I can release mags easily without dropping the bolt

With the lever on does the bolt stay open after the last round. I did't know with the extra weight from the lever if that would keep the bolt closed after the last round.

I don't have any problem with bolt hold open. I think it would have to be jammed up or have lots of weight for it not to work
