Default Safety mod

Hi All,

Today I picked up an M&P 15-22. I am a "south paw" and was wondering if the safety switch can be moved to the opposite side of the rifle. Both sides of the weapon casing have the safety "stops" and labels but there is only a safety lever on the left side. It sort of gets in the way of my trigger finger and I would like to switch it to the right side of the weapon. Is this possible?

Thx!

Yup. Just move the safety to in between safe and fire and push it out. Then just switch it's side and push it back in. The hammer needs to be down, but I am not 100% on that.

Default Remove the grip....

It'll also make it easier if you remove the grip, as there is a spring and detent trapped under there. Beware, as there is also the spring and detent for the rear takedown pin as well. Remove the grip slowly and watch for them.

Being a lefty too, it was the first mod for me!
