adapter
From my understanding is if you mqake for your own use you are not stepping on their toes. And u can change the adapter in ways to make the adapter your own and they don't make one with the mp 15 22 setup so that isn't under their pat. Thank you for your time in this. I am sure I can make one if I get my hands on a drum as the adapter fits in the molded lines on the top. And the small spring plate that holds it in place wouldn't be hard to remake in a way that is differant from thiers.making a drum and the winder would be very hard and I wouldn't try that , but those part are priced ok. The 200 price of the adapter is very high for 10 bucks of metal and plastic.

First I like it, second it must take forever to load, and third love to shoot all day.
I'll take one!

That is one impressive piece of inventiveness! I can't help but think of it as an inverted Lewis Gun system. I stand in awe of your imagination, sir!

Obviously it died. The current ammo situation probably didn't help.

The drum is still going strong. I actually found a way to link the dummy rounds so they are easier to load them. I also replaced the plastic parts with aluminum ones.

I have not made a video. It would be boring watching me pull the trigger 203 times.

If you blackout the clear plastic on the drum, it'll look like the Star Trek Enterprise.
Couldn't resist it..

Heads up. It looks like Bazooka Brothers is making the AM 180 drum adapters for the 15-22 now. I have no experience with theirs but the one I made runs great.

If you have the loading tray, American 180 Drums are not too bad, 3-5 minutes depending on which count drum is being loaded.

I had the first 275 drum conversion in Canada for my SU22.
Worked great. Youtube 275 drum.
The drum is heavy with 275 rounds.
Plus the conversion was $200 + shipping Can. $200 + shipping for the drum, loader stand, tray.
Worked out to be just under $500 Can all said and done.
Its a smile maker but only good for bench rest shooting.
Another thing people dont tell you is the drum rotates which effect your grouping when rockin and rolling.

I don't own a slidefire but I think the drum would be too heavy to make it function.

275 round drums do not work as reliably.

Am getting ready to test that theory, Slidefire is inbound, 2# Trigger is here, as is Slidefire recoil "enhancer". Once work settles down a bit, will hopefully have time to play, will let you know the outcome.

I've got my 50 rd drum to run absolutely flawlessly with a Strikefire, fake suppressor, rail covers all the way around, and a GripPod attached to mine so I would think if your gun was naked with the drum it would work. I don't know the weight difference, but it doesn't seem like it'd be much

So I imagine the AR22 tower works in the 15-22 then without modification.
