Thumbs down Holographic sights on eBay: inaccurate ads

Alert: some eBay vendors are advertising sub $100 reflex red dot sights as "holographic". I do not know whether the deception is deliberate or accidental or the result of simple ignorance.

I asked two vendors whether the sights were true holographic type, and one came clean, the other lied.

I believe that price can be an approximate guide: you get what you pay for. True holos cost several hundred $$.

So proceed with caution!

I love eBay, but you do have to be careful.
Also, there are no green reticle EOTech's. If you've got a green one, you've been had.

Would be great if they did as green is much brighter in daylight that red.

There's very little gun parts I would buy on eBay. Definitely a 'no go' for me on just about any sight & optics. I'd rather pay more for a reputable dealer with a genuine item.
