Belt fed Shroud

I heard belt fed is MIA? I want to get a barrel shroud from him, does anyone have good detailed pics of one? and has anyone heard if he is taking orders?

I've tried to email him through his website and PM on here. No reply so far, but it has only been a couple of days. I do see that he has been on here since my inquiry was sent. Hope all is OK with him, I know real life takes priority over things like this, and rightfully so.

I just really hope he is taking orders, he makes exactly what I want!

"I should have my lathe in by the end of the month. And Ive allready ordered the stock to cut them out of. So if you will give me a shout at the begining of next month Ill should have some in stock this will cut down on your turn around time.

Was this recently? Meaning the beginning of May?

Not sure if I should keep trying or what. I don't want to pester him, I just wish he would at least respond once, so I know I am not wasting my time or his.

From an older post it looks like around 8oz. I am sure there are a bunch of variables that can change that weight, but just going off of his post here:

You could always try Kineti-Tech.com...he has both 4.5" and 6" with optional frontend cap, middle section, and tail end caps.

Something unfortunate must be going on in his life because I replied to his 3/24/12 email requsting an address and name to make a MO out to and haven't heard back....and I've PM'd him twice since.

He seems like a good guy. Hopefully it falls back into place for him.

Just found the name and address for sending payment if you want it.

Having no idea what the part I want will cost, I think I may just fill out the purchase form and send a bit more than the most expensive option he has listed on his website and see if that gets the ball rolling.

I really want to get this part for my son's rifle before he goes to his mom's for the summer.

Yes, please. I'd appreciate it. I don't think I'll send my barrels before I hear back from him, but at least I'll be ready to send them if he's still in business.

Guys I apologize once again I've had 3 deals on lathes fall threw. But my own personal hell started all over last week and after a a few days in the icu waiting for my mom to come around I've realized there is nothing I cam do but be there when she needs me. I can't fix her problems for her no matter how much of her burden I put on my own shoulders.

With that said. I've got latches in stock and as soon as i can lock down a lathe ill be more than happy to fill orders. I've spoken to a friend and he will let me use his till but I hate to bum.

I've thought I've had 3 different lathes bought at one point or another and the deals keep falling through bit I will have one shortly.

8 oz is correct on the weight the reason for that is that weight balanced the rifle nice and got me to the exact weight of my personal ar15..

Truly sorry to hear that your mom is having difficulties. I can sure understand that these shrouds take a backseat to real life priorities. If there is anything we can do, please ask.

I have a metal lathe that may be 4 sale. I bought it for making,,,,,, 'items'.
