Wow, these are fun toys to plink with. I've had mine for a week and have several hundred rounds thru it without a hitch. Got a few mods working already. When the project is complete (the tac scope should be in Thursday) I'll try to post a pic or two with a range report. Gotta buy more ammo!!!!!!!.................the Rev

There's no such thing as too much ammo or too many magazines!

Agreed. I've bought 3,000 rounds of .22 in the last week and ordered 7 magazines for mine. Still not sure if 8 mags is enough

I'm supposed to shoot skeet at the club today. But all I'm looking forward to is everyone getting off the skeet field so I can play on the rifle range (can't do both at the same time). I've got a fresh brick of Blazers just waiting to be recycled!!!................the Rev

Only if you don't plan to shoot very much.

Put another 300+ downrange today. Tried a box of everything I had hanging around. 'Smitty' seems to like Fed Champ bulk, Fed Lightning (remember last summer when they were $1.47/box @ Wally World?!), and CCI Blazers just fine. The American Eagles not so much. By the weekend I should have the new scope and "muzzle brake" (I live in NY, gotta word things correctly!) installed. I see lots of trigger time with Smitty this summer........................the Rev

Thank you for this thread. I thought I had a "problem" because I have 4 mags and 10,000 rounds of .22lr ready to go. Now I realize I need more ammo and more mags.

I just ordered four more mags to bring my total to 11. I thought that was excessive...but only for a minute. I think 4 more ought to do it for awhile.
