| | what if? Ben
Congrats on an awesome product. I dont have a M and P 22, but if I did, you can bet I would order one of these. dont let the naysayers turn you off, I think 85 is a good price point for something like this.
If you have any plans for modifying the design, I would be very interested in a version that could work with a sig 522 mag, which is almost identical to the CMMP AR .22 conversion mags. These are also 25 round mags, and it seems as if the basic design of the loader would be the same, with some modification of the attachment plate to accommodate a different mag shape.
I, for one would be willing to pay 130 to 150 for something like this, which is comparable in price to the now-impossible-to-find black dog machine loader. I think there is a market out there for these, especially with the high cost of centerfire ammo these days
I know from previous posts you are trying to bring down the price on gen1 of the SW product, but please consider an expansion of your product line to include these largely generic magazines for us other shooters!
Thanks

| | Very nice
The only thing I don't like is the 25 times clicking. It would be nice to just crank a handle and get the magazine loaded |

| | I have one mag that was split open at the top. Emailed S&W and they sent me a new one. One out of 8.
The loader looks nice but $85 I'm not sure I would spend that much on just a loader. I don't need to shoot that fast.

| | Yes. For now the same model is available at $85 + shipping. I have a Gen 2 design almost complete, but I am still working on gathering funds for tooling and production. Might be a couple months yet before the new version is available.
I must say that sales on the current version have been very strong though. Better that I thought they would be. |

| | I will pay that and I need it ASAP for my granddaughter's gift. I have emailed a few times from YouTube video, but no response. I would be happy to let you know how it works and video her use of it for your use. Please respond, as I have already let her know that one of her gifts will be a bit late. Please don't make me a liar. Seems like you'd jump at the chance to sell one, since not many want to pay that much.......please email me at. CheSne55@aol.com. |

Thank you. |

| | Congrats on your product. I rather just load by hand, sore thumbs come accustom in this hobby.
Looks like a nice piece for sure. |

| | I haven't seen any posts about those who bought them as to how they are working out. With the cost of mags these days this loader is starting to make more sense. Any word on the Gen 2? |

It's a device that sells for $85 and lets you load a 25-round magazine in 25 seconds instead of 60. There was a video showing how it operates and then claims that a few were sold, but none of the buyers ever posted a review of it. The developer hasn't been back, either. | | The Following User Likes This Post:

How does that differ from Gen 1?

I don't know what the difference is between Gen 1 and Gen 2, and really don't care since the developer, and his product, have pretty much disappeared.

No foul, as far as I'm concerned, if it's OK by you. I just wanted to know what the "Gen 2" was all about. I had npt followed the thread since its infancy and was unaware that the developer had effectively disappeared. Sorry. |

There is nothing like having a tool that makes a job faster. And by all accounts you have developed a product that is simple to use and works very well. However, a $100 is a big chunk of money to lay down for a tool. Lots of folks pass at that level, but would say it is a "no brainer" at 1/3 to 1/2 that price.
I feel your pain, and I sincerely wish you success. A friend and I developed a tool for model rocketry hobbyists, but we could never get the price down low enough that most hobbyists seeing it would bite.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link here but I found it with just a little effort by viewing his youtube video from an earlier post.
I was able to e-mail him and let him know I was interested when he started shipping again which should be next week based on a statement on his website. |

| | I have a Butler Creek mag loader for the 10/22 and it works like a charm. Dump the bullets in a tray and they line up, tilt slightly and crank a knob and they fill a BX-25 in less than a minute. Why reinvent the wheel? The BC can probably be adapted for the Smith or perhaps they already make one. Wouldn't sink any money into project without doing more research. Congratulations, however, for developing a good idea. |

Anyhow. I have made some improvements to the product (AR-15 style mag catch, better materials and a few others), but I am still working on getting the capitol funding together to launch the Generation 2 device, which will be much cheaper. I just don't have a pile of money sitting around to invest in tooling. I am also waiting to see what happens with congress and any assault weapons ban.
I will update my post in the "For Sale" section, but the best way to get the latest information on the speed loader is to check out my website: www.RapidLoaderTech.com | | The Following User Likes This Post:
