I have recently purchaced two 15 22s.......The owners manuals don't have much info in them....I would like to get a more detailed break down on disassembly and parts........Haven't found any good down loads on the internet.

How much further do you want to break it down? Taking the firing pin and extractor out is not recommended unless absolutely necessary, and repeated removal of the fire control group can wear out your trigger and hammer pin holes.

Standard procedure just says push receiver pins and separate upper and lower receivers, pull out charging handle and bolt group, take off bolt guide rod and spring (not sure about actual names) and slide bolt assembly off of rails.

Any further than that is only necessary when changing or replacing parts.

I have manuals with expanded views and parts lists.....I like to know how my firearms are assembled...It is just a thing with me..........For instance: if I wanted to change a barrel I could see what is involved....

I am unaware of any exploded drawing(s) for the 15-22. No Idea why, but I would like one, too.

FWIW, there are videos on this web site detailing how to remove a barrel - and how to do just about everything else to the 15-22.
