Plinker Tactical Charging Handle Availability
Bud's has removed the PT charging handle from their catalog.
TactiCool22 hasn't had any in months.
Midway has pushed availability back yet again - now 27 Aug.
Anyone actually know anything - not just speculation?

I knew there was another one, but I couldn't remember who and I was too lazy to go back through the thread and look.

I think it's interesting that NONE of the above sites had a photograph - neither does Midway.
How do you not have a photo of an in-stock item?

Pretty strange.
Those are the kind of companies I don't do business with unless I REALLY want something.
I think it's interesting that none of them are charging as much as I paid for mine. Someone had prime rib that night.

I sent Plinker Tactical an e-mail to find out what the scoop is. I'm sure supply has not been able to keep up with demand, but it's hard to say.
Is this the only aluminum charging handle for the 15-22, or are there others?

NDZperformance makes one with some fancy stuff on it.
Charging Handle
I'm a lefty shooter though, so I prefer the Plinker Tactical ambi model.

Has anyone had trouble with the stock plastic ones? I used to be a "if it ain't wood and steel......" kinda guy. My faith in good synthetic materials has risen to the point, that from a purely functional standpoint, I prefer it IF it will do the job

No problems with mine in thousands of rounds, I just switched for the ambi feature. If they made an aluminum ambi lever that would work with the polymer CH, I would have gone that route.

5k plus and no problems. Then again, I am not doing combat-style matches

on a somewhat related note, i picked up belt fed's extended charging handle latch because i thought it looked cool. now that i have used it a few times, i kind of regret spending $ on something i never really needed. thats pretty much what has kept me from picking up an aftermarket charging handle as well.

I was the same way about the magnetic dust cover - looked cool but I never installed it as it really didn't do anything practical. I finally sold it last month.

Looks like I'm too late - I can't find it. Midway says "coming soon", too.
Plinker Tactical told me that they'd make sure everyone had them in stock - they said no problems with supply at the moment.

I have belt feds extended charging handle latch. But took it off and put on the PT because it was all aluminum.
Got it form buds had it the next day.
I wish bet fed would have made these.
NDZ cost way to much imo.
