Default flash suppressor purchase

I recently purchased the standard MP 15-22 and have decided that I would like to add a flash suppressor. Should I send the gun in to S & W and have the barrel threaded and the suppressor added or find a gunsmith and have them do the work. If so does anyone have any recommendations in northern Illinois and what model/type of suppressor should I purchase. Thanks for the help. Kevin

You might be confused with some other company. As far as I can tell, ADCO does not offer hydro dipping service. They come HIGHLY recommended from AR15.com and many industry partners and manufacturers.

Apologies to ADCO, I got it messed up. It was another company completely, one that is meant to specialize in Hydrodipping. Someone mentioned ADCO in the topic as a source of things to fix the problem and I mis-remembered it.

From what I saw while quickly checking myself, ADCO is very good to go.

I'm sorry for the confusion.
