I shoot mine in Steel Challenge, but I'm by no means a pro.

Pro or not a Pro I just wanted to know more information regarding the competitions. How many rounds do you shoot during each round in the competitions?

In Steel Challenge there are eight official stages. Seven of the eight, if shot perfect with no misses, take 25 rounds per stage to complete. The other stage is shot four times and takes 20 rounds if done perfectly. So if you shot all eight stages in a match with no misses it would take 195 rounds. At our club we do six stages for a minimum round count of 150.

It depends on the individual club, but most do one match a month.

Just started shooting Tactical .22 rifle and Practical .22 pistol matches in late August. Don't have any pics or video of the pistol matches, but here's a couple videos I shot from my rail mounted camera:
Round count is about 150 for all 4 stages, but it varies slightly from match to match. Some guys use drum mags, but I prefer to take advantage of the time to practice magazine changes.

I would link to some videos, but I am no longer at work.
You can go to:
Texarkana Gun Club - Texarkana, TX
We have some videos of a couple of our Steel Challenge matches from earlier this year on there. I know you can see me shooting my 15-22 in at least one of the videos.

I am actually the person who is ROing the videos posted here. I never saw them before, they're actually pretty cool. We do 2 matches a month on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays. Last month we had a "Major" match that I wasn't able to shoot in. These matches are great training and even greater fun. It is also really fun to get a look at all of the weapons being used, from stock 10-22's through all of the tactical .22 platforms and even, on occasion, a couple of select fire lowers with .22 uppers. If anyone is reading in the Phoenix, AZ area, feel free to come out and give it a try, I'm sure you won't regret it.

I believe he has a Talon mount. At least that's what it says on the bottom of his post.

Doomsday is right, the mount is a TALON mount, you can find it on ebay.
The camera is a 4 year old Nikon Coolpix P5100 pocket camera, but any video capable camera will work on the mount.
I plan to use my new S8200 Coolpix HD camera for the next 2 matches tomorrow and Tuesday. The first test video with the HD camera was great, much better video quality. I will be posting the new videos here on Wednesday.

I probably shoot more rounds out of a 15-22 in competition that anyone here. Considering I put over 20k rounds thru it since I got it in July 2011.
my usualy list is this:
My monthly club events:
Speed Steel (SC like) 130 rounds per match
Rimfire Steel (RR like) 100 rounds per match
Rimfire Lots of Steel (same but more targets and mag changes) 225 per match.
Outside events
PA State Steel Challenge carbine division 200 rounds
PSA Sunday practice for annual Rimfire Challenge 300 rounds x2 per month
PA Steel (like our SS) 130/month 5-6 per year.
Ruger Rimfire events: regionals up to 150, World Championship up to 250.
PSA Rimfire Challenge up to 300.
And for every round I shoot in competition I shoot between 10-100 in practice.
Likely be less in 2013 because while I also shoot IDPA and USPSA now I am starting 3-gun in 2013.
My club is considering doing a 2 gun rimire match every month also starting in 2013. I have shot some of those in other states when I was there at the time.
